Ancient Threads Leather & Cleaning Information
Ancient Threads Leather are 100% bovine milled leather, handcrafted in small batches at a family owned tannery since 1970 & Pebble Grain textured as a finishing additive. Each premium hide is aniline dyed & cured with innovative finishes infused with heritage artisan craftsmanship. This labor intensive process to create Artisan leather takes 2 weeks before arriving at the pattern makers table to be cut & sewn. Pebble grain textured leather have the benefit of hiding scratches as part of daily usage. This leather will not darken with time & can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth.
Ancient Threads Return/Refund Policy
While we hope you love your purchase, there’s also the question of Return / Refund. Returns will only be accepted 14 days from receipt of your order for a refund as per original payment method Minus 10% of the cost of goods as a restocking fee. If 14 days have passed, Returns will not be honored or accepted.
All returns require Pre Authorization. Please email hello@ancient-threads for return instructions & ship to address. You will need to return your unused product at your expense using a trackable shipping service.

Ancient Threads Shipping information
US orders - All orders are shipped within 2 business days from the New York Atelier. If goods are backordered, you will be notified via email. We have partnered with Sendle - a registered B Corp Shipper & America’s first Carbon neutral shipping service securing carbon offsets. We believe in sustainability & every shipment is 100% carbon neutral.
International orders - Due to export / import duty & tariffs outside US, we are currently not offering International shipments on individual orders as customers would be liable for import duty which varies by country. For Wholesale orders, we will ship directly from our Manufacturer in India. Please email for further details.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Please check your Shipping address before ordering as we are NOT responsible for incorrect shipping address. If you accidentally entered incorrect address or zip code, please email us immediately so we may intercept the shipment prior to processing.
We are NOT responsible for refunds to incorrect address or undeliverable addresses or stolen packages after delivery.
Ancient Threads Gift Wrapping / Custom Packaging
Ancient Threads are not able to provide custom packaging, however each package arrives in recycled cardboard packaging with color infused product designed to evoke joy and wellness.
